Hot-Blot Option
- The Hot-Blot Option is used to blot the termination paste applied to the MLCC chip after the terminated chip has entered the systems oven and has formed a crust over the termination paste. With a pliable portion of the paste inside the termination paste cap
- Blotting the crusted chip cap will flatten the normally bulb shaped end of the terminated chip forcing the excess paste to the edges of the chip for better edge coverage.
